The students of Hon's 4th year, Department of English , Sunamganj Govt. College, made power-point presentations on the four novels from their course '19th Century Novels' today as part of their Formative Assessment. After the presentation of each group, the members from peer groups provided feedback on the performance of the presenter group identifying the strong aspects of the presentation as well as the areas for further improvement. Along with two teachers from the department, Eva Roy, Associate Professor and Rajon Kanti Das, Lecturer, Mouli Majumdar, Asssistant Professor, Deparment of Economics,also enjoyed the presentations and provided constructive feedback on the students' performances. Creating this kind of power-point presentations, the students can develop their content knowledge and also aquire the soft skills like presentation skill, team-work skill, ICT skill etc. as part of their readiness for entering the professional world as the 21st century graduates.
